EMPIRE PLACE LED SCREEN

BRIEF AND CHALLENGES:

To create an outdoor LED screen on the new Empire Place hotel, across from Africa’s best known shopping centre, Sandton City. Not only did this screen need to appeal to passing road traffic, but also to the many pedestrians in the area visiting shopping centres or the US Embassy. The screen would need to be a unique size to accommodate the landlord’s requirements.

SOLUTION:

Adtec worked closely with the landlords, engineers and architects working on the building and made sure that the 56.62m2 screen would be accommodated for in the original plans. The required power and air conditioning piping was installed almost a year before the P10 screen panels themselves were ready to go up. Because of the unique shape of this screen, Adtec, through its content creation service, is able to assist clients in creating the best content to take advantage of the bright 8000 cd/m2 screen.
